This show looks at art practise and the demands of raising a family. Four multi-disciplinary artists, all with children under 4 years old talk openly to Ana Shorter on the subjects of motherhood, fatherhood and practicing in Berlin.
She is joined by Ines Lechleitner, she addresses issues of non verbal communication within her work using different mediums. They include sound, photography, film, artist books and drawing. Shan Blume, an independent artist living and working with his family in Berlin. In his daily work he explores the possibility of space through sculpture, video and installations using mediums ranging from lasers to collage.
Sofia Burchardi and Plamen Bontchev are co – collaborators working with the medium of photography, video and installation.
